The Real belifs and there flawes
The purtian's had a lot of crazy beliefs and they lived them to the utmost. Just like "Total Depravity", that means they believe everyone is born a sinner. Witch is just ignorant, but don't tell them that; they tend to be very sure of themselves. John 15:4-5, "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, ... that means that you cannot not make your self clean, only in god can you become clean from all your sins. DUET. 32:35 Their foot shall slide in due time. this verse threatens the vengeance of god on people if the world doesn't clean up its act.
But what act is right, who's religion is correct who is god. No one is sure so why does everyone keep saying there right when they really don't know.
Perseverance of the "saints" is one of the puritans main beliefs. Isn't that just so stupid, who is holy enough to pick out saints for "God" saikes. "That they were always exposed to destruction, as one that stands or walks in slippery places is always exposed to fall. This is implied in the manner of their destruction’s coming upon them, being represented by their foot’s sliding. The same is expressed", Ps. 73:18, “Surely thou didst set them in slippery places; thou casted st themdown into destruction.” He just translated the verse into his own thoughts and beliefs on this bible verse. Who gave him the right to that, my guess is the farthest away from god. People take them selves way to seriously, ex specially the Puritan's
